Aldi reveals new champagne inspired by Oasis with shoppers able to win free bottles from today

The new drink will be launched exclusively at Aldi’s Bury New Road store

Aldi has revealed a new limited edition champagne bottle inspired by Manchester legends Oasis.

And it's coming to stores next month.

The supermarket will launch its new Supernova Champagne bottle in Manchester as a tribute to the band's classic hit, as the group gears up for its reunion tour this July.

The new bottle will be exclusively launched at Aldi’s Bury New Road store.

Aldi has crafted the new drink using the store's award-winning Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut and the bottle has also been reimagined with a ‘Supernova’ design to pay homage to the band’s well-loved song.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We’re thrilled to launch Supernova Champagne, a special, limited-edition rebrand of our award-winning Veuve Monsigny.

“We're offering shoppers a unique and memorable way to raise a glass to this iconic moment in music history.”

The bottle will be available to buy for £14.95 at Aldi's Bury store from July 7.

But fans nationwide also have the chance to get their hands on a bottle.

Aldi is giving fans across the country the chance to win one of the bottles by simply taking part in a free-to-enter prize draw.

To take part, fans will need to simply like and tag a friend on Aldi’s Facebook page from today, up until June 30.

However, the new Supernova Champagne is not the only way that Aldi is celebrating Oasis’ reunion and upcoming tour.

On top of this they have also released a new limited edition larger which can be found in Aldi stores nationwide.

The Wonderwall Premium Lager pays homage to another one of Oasis's classic hits that many fans will know and love.

The lager comes in crates of four and is available for £5.49 in Aldi stores nationwide.
