Boy, 17, arrested after car smashes into front of Stockport house
Emergency services were called to the scene on Saturday evening
A teenage boy was arrested after a car hit a house, resulting in what appears to be serious structural damage.
Images from the scene show extensive damage to the brickwork at the front of the property, as well as a huge crack running up a wall near to a front window.
A porch support is also shown buckled, with a section of the wall underneath the window also appearing to have been pushed inwards.
Emergency services were called to Heald Green, Stockport, on Saturday evening.
One witness reported the fire service ordered the temporary evacuation of the property as a precaution, but thankfully there have been no reports of any injuries.
Police have confirmed a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and taken into custody before later being released. Tape remained at the entrance to the house today - Sunday.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed emergency services were called to the scene at 5.40pm on Saturday.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.

A spokesperson for the force said a 17 year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and driving without a valid driving licence.
He's been released on police bail pending further investigation.
No further details have been revealed and the teenager hasn't been named.
