A car has been set on fire and another vehicle badly damaged as police respond to an outbreak of 'serious disorder' in Salford this afternoon.

One person has been arrested and a dispersal order has been put in place around Lower Broughton Road, said GMP. Video from the scene shows a car in flames as a large group of youths gather on a grass embankment.

Another clip shows several masked motorbike riders milling in the street. Witnesses said a group of around 50-60 people could be seen in the area, with bricks and stones strewn across the street.
