Dunelm has opened the doors to a brand-new Manchester store. The new 31,490sq ft space opened yesterday and boasts a wide selection of homewares as well as a Pausa Kitchen Café.
The UK’s leading homewares retailer, yesterday welcomed customers to its new store at Manchester Fort in Cheetham Hill, which is just five minutes by car from the city centre.
The Manchester Fort shopping complex is also home to brands including Asda Living, Next, TK Maxx and B&Q amongst others.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 50 customers through the doors received an exclusive goody bag filled with Dunelm products.
When the doors opened at 9am, customers took to the aisles to find 20 hidden golden tickets – offering vouchers to spend in store ranging from £5 to £20.

"Our team has been working exceptionally hard over recent months to ensure the new store is the ultimate shopping destination, filled with stylish, eye-catching and functional pieces to elevate every room in the house”
The Manchester Fort store will house an extensive range of homewares, from quality furniture to stylish home décor and outdoor essentials.
The expanded offering includes a wide selection of bedding and textiles from heritage brand Dorma, alongside the latest Sophie Robinson x Dunelm collaboration.
The new shopping space is also home to a Pausa Café, offering a selection of meals, drinks and refreshments. Families can take advantage of the Pausa Café’s ‘Kids Eat Free’ offer, in which children will be able to enjoy one free mini meal with every £4 spent by an adult, all year round.
Dunelm is the UK's market leader in homewares and was founded in 1979 by the Adderley family, beginning as a curtains stall on Leicester market before expanding its store footprint.
The business has grown to over 200 stores across the UK and has developed an online offer which includes home delivery and Click & Collect options.
Most stores include Pausa coffee shops, where customers can enjoy a range of hot and cold food and drinks.
From its textiles heritage in areas such as bedding, curtains, cushions, quilts and pillows, Dunelm has built a comprehensive offer as ‘The Home of Homes’ including furniture, kitchenware, dining, lighting, outdoor, decoration and DIY.
The business predominantly sells specialist own-brand products sourced from long-term, committed suppliers, and is headquartered in Leicester, employing over 11,000 colleagues.
Local customers are invited to join the Dunelm Manchester Fort Community Support Facebook Group where they can keep up to date with everything going on in-store, including exclusive follower benefits.
