The hit West End musical Mean Girls is heading on a full UK and Ireland tour in 2026 that will start here in Manchester. The award-winning show brings the story of the iconic 2004 Mean Girls movie to life on the stage in an all-singing and dancing extravaganza.

Producers Lorne Michaels, Crossroads Live and Sonia Friedman Productions have today announced further details of the new tour which will open at Manchester Opera House on 23 February 2026.

It will then head out to venues across the UK and Ireland including Blackpool's Winter Gardens, Liverpool Empire,Sunderland Empire and Newcastle's Theatre Royal, running through until the end of January 2027.

The show follows "The Plastics" - Regina, Gretchen and Karen who rule North Shore High and will burn anyone who gets in their way.

Home-schooled Cady Heron, the character famously played by Lindsay Lohan in the movie, may think she knows a thing or two about survival of the fittest thanks to her zoologist parents, but high school is a whole new level of savage.
