M&S issues update on online orders as shoppers left ‘waiting’ for products
The company said they are "working hard" to resume all online orders
M&S has issued updates to a number of its customers who are unable to order some of the store's products online.
Yesterday, July 10, M&S announced that they would be resuming their online orders, after being paused six weeks earlier.
On Instagram, M&S wrote: “We are bringing back online shopping this week.
“A selection of our best selling fashion ranges will be available for home delivery to England, Scotland and Wales from today.”
But while online orders were resumed for many of M&S’ fashion lines, the store outlined that some products were not included. From this, they indicated that new products would be added back online "every day”.
The store wrote: “More of our fashion, home and beauty products will be added every day and we will resume deliveries to Northern Ireland and Click and Collect in the coming weeks."
While M&S has not confirmed when all orders will be back online they say it will be “as soon as possible”.
The update comes after shoppers queried when they would be able to order particular items that they were “waiting” for.
As part of this, one shopper queried when they would be able to order home products, including furniture.
M&S spokesperson Elsa responded: “Some of our products, including furniture, are not available for order online yet.
“We’re working hard to bring more of our products back for you as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
One shopper also queried when certain food lines would be available to order online. They asked: “When will you be able to order the online cakes?”
An M&S spokesperson replied: “We know our customers want to order our wonderful food and cakes for special occasions and events and we’re working hard to resume orders in the coming weeks.”
