Police issue statement as they reveal what was found during house raid
'We will not stop until we get these offenders off our streets'
A man was arrested following a raid at a house in Rochdale. Officers executed a warrant at the address on Digby Road on Friday (June 6).
A 'number of items', including drugs and 'high-value goods', were seized, police said.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug supply; and money laundering offences, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) added.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries. An investigation is ongoing
The raid was carried out by officers from GMP's Challenger team - a multi-agency operation which aims to 'disrupt and dismantle individuals and networks engaged in serious criminal activities'.
DI Dan Daly, from the Challenger team based in Rochdale, said: “The warrant this afternoon has resulted in the arrest of one man and the recovery of Class A and B drugs, alongside high-value goods.
"We will pursue every line of enquiry vigorously and relentlessly, our message to drug dealers and those involved in related criminal activity is clear: we will not stop until we get these offenders off our streets and into our custody cells where they belong.
"If you are concerned about criminal activity within your area, you can report this to us directly on 101 or by reporting information using our online report tool at www.gmp.police.uk."
