Top Manchester venue unveils plans for Oasis pre-parties ahead of Heaton Park gigs - featuring the option to go 'full rock star'
Dust off your 90s clobber and pull on the parkas...
An iconic Manchester venue has unveiled details about a series of huge Oasis pre-party events it will be hosting this summer to coincide with the band’s Heaton Park gigs.
Diecast will be hosting a series of bottomless brunch-style Champagne Supernova sessions ahead of each of the Oasis shows in Manchester featuring DJs spinning the best Britpop anthems ranging from the likes of Pulp, The Verve, and, of course, the Gallagher brothers themselves.
Taking place on July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 from 11am to 4pm, the sessions will include 90 minutes of bottomless drinks - including a choice of frozen Daiquiris, Prosecco and Pilsner. There will also be a freshly-made pizza included, with a choice of Margherita, Vegan Margherita, Pepperoni or Diavola.
Costing £35 per person, there will also be the option for people to go ‘full rock star’ and upgrade to free-flowing Champagne for an additional £25 per person - allowing guests to have their own Champagne Supernova moment before the gig.
Offering good vibes, the sessions at Diecast’s Brooklyn Beer Hall will all be soundtracked by 90s anthems and have already been described as the ‘ultimate warm-up’ for the huge Oasis Manchester shows - and tickets can be bought here.
Not only that, but the venue is also set to be conveniently located right near to the Northern Quarter pick-up point for the gig's official shuttle buses heading right into Heaton Park for the Oasis shows. These will need to be booked separately and are not included in the ticket price.
Speaking about the event, Diecast said: “Whether you’re a mad-for-it mum, a Britpop dad, or part of the new generation of fans raised on the legacy of the Gallagher brothers, Champagne Supernova is your ultimate warm-up.
“Dust off your 90s clobber, pull on the parkas, and belt out the tunes that defined a generation. From Blur and Pulp to Ocean Colour Scene – and of course, Oasis on repeat – this is the sound of summer in Manchester.”

With Oasismania already taking over, there’s lots of venues taking the opportunity to appeal to fans coming to the city for the huge reunion shows. A top Manchester hotel also recently announced its very own Oasis-themed room package, which will include beer and transport to Heaton Park ahead of the Manchester shows.
In addition to the Diecast pre-parties, neighbouring venues The Firehouse and Ramona will also be giving visitors 50% off their first pint when booking a table and showing their concert or shuttlebus ticket.
Tickets for Diecast’s Champagne Supernova sessions, available at £35 per person, can be bought here. Spaces are limited, and only booking slots named ‘Bottomless’ are valid.
Diecast is on 51 Ducie Street, Manchester, M1 2JQ.
